Antaran's Journal The snow is slowly melting away and the sun came through today again. That was good because I had to get up very early and deliver a lot of packages, as I explained yesterday. I'm really exhausted, so I'll make this a short entry. Tartek was kind of in a bad mood today, I don't know why, but I invited him to dinner for tomorrow. I still have to ask my wife when she gets home if she can be here as well - I doubt it though, so I guess Tartek and I will go to Scarlat's since I can't really cook well. Oh yes, the princess sent one of her servants over to Tartek to tell him that she was pleased with our "quick and fabulous work yesterday". The servant bowed before Tartek and gave him a small bag with some money in it for the order. It was way too less though (we counted it later). The princess is and has always been a cheapskate... Maybe that's why he was in a bad mood, but I think he's already been like that before the servant appeared. The Insomida Market was closed today for the preparations of the festival. This caused a huge chaos because merchants had to move their tents outside of the marketplace into the tight alleys to sell their goods. It made it even worse for me to deliver those damn packages... This entry is already longer than I planned, so I'll just end it and go read my book until Carana arrives... (Is it just my imagination or is she coming back later every day?)
