The plot is simple:
The player has made a mistake in the past and has to face the consequences now (suffering).
The punishment comes to the player in 4 parts and one additional final part.
On this single-player half-life modification I worked together with blackjack.

We named the final enemy somos. Try to look into faq for more informations on this. One man called whiteman gave us a superious idea for a deathmatch level. It shows the room with somos, all players have to defeat him if they want to (if not they can shoot each other and see somos as a special feature in the level *gg*).

I have finished the final enemy part. Actually halfquake is finished, but now I'm working hard on details and secret rooms... I'm still not sure about "lounge", if I should take it as a forthcoming project or as a special feature in halfquake, which would delay the official release of it... We'll see...

Tomorrow the final enemy will be done, if I take the whole day. Today kent.brockman and I recorded some nice sentences for the final enemy. I realized some performance problems in the "final enemy"-area. Also a beta-tester reported some performance troubles... Soon I'll introduce two new areas, which are called "faq" and "walkthrough".

I'm preparing my spirit and worldcraft for the final enemy. All parts (including part1, part2, part3, part4, repeat, repeat2, jump and run, jump and run 2) are done. After the final enemy (which will be finished in about 2 weeks) I'll redo some details, think over all things in halfquake (maybe we'll built some hidden rooms with some extra surprises) and I'll start with the muliplayer map "lounge".

I had some problems with school and myself, but I'm feeling better every day... Tomorrow I'll finish "repeat 2" and even "jump and run 2" could be done... maybe... Then I'll think about the details of the final enemy.

I finished the house of sadism. Now repeat2 is under construction. I also changed the skins for the human grunts. Click on the picture below to enlarge the picture.

I found some textures, which gave me an inspiration for another deathmatch level called house of sadism. I'll also use these textures for the house in the single player game. Last weekend blackjack and I visited the concert of Marilyn Manson in vienna. During the journey in the train we thought of all the last scenes in halfquake. So, on paper halfquake is already finished.

Part4 is nearly done. kent.brockman wants to re-record the monolog of the dying man. But I don't think that this would be necessary. :) I started with the deathmatch level, which is a huge project. Blackjack has a few problems now and I hope that he will solve them soon. I need his ideas. Today I added a new skybox. I replaced the moon with an evil grin, so to speak... hehe...

Part 3 is going to be finished in two or three days (in case the family christmas festivals don't stop me AAAAAARGH)... Then there's a lot of work to do with part 4. We put many ideas in this one, blackjack and myself... But let's surprise you...

I replaced the old trigger_cam with a new one and it worked. Then I realised what mr.engine (*gg*) means by saying "Node graph out of date!"... The waypoints (info_node) are saved into a point-file, and everytime when I compiled the bsp-file, the "error" message came again. But only once. So not the message was silly, but me, lol....
I'm a bit stuck because I'm getting bored of the textures, but I can't find any others, which could be perfect for replacement... But I will finish halfquake!! Hehe...

Oh no... the first problem in part3 is that the trigger_cam just doesn't work. The second is this silly message at the beginning of this level: "Node graph out of date! Rebuilding..." I will see if I can solve these...

The sequence before part three isn't finished yet, because I worked at some details. I also added new health and suit cabines. And yesterday I wrote another sequence for the forth part... I hate the sounds of the HEV-suit, because they are getting boring. So I decided to delete them.

The introducing, the training, part one and part two are already done, but need to be more detailed. Yesterday blackjack came to me and we recorded some dialogs. Tomorrow I'll start to make a sequence, then I will go on with part three.
